International Zone

Artist Impression of the International Zone
The International Zone is located at the major shopping complex
just across the road. The shopping complex, approximately 100 m
x 60 m in dimension, offers five levels of shopping in addition
to two basement parking levels for over 380 cars. Also housed at
the shopping complex is the dining hall, medical and doping
control centre, sports information office, and all the other
International Zone requirements.
Travel is facilitated by the excellent and well-planned infrastructure
in the vicinity. The six-lane Shah Alam Expressway and
the six-lane North-South Highway linking Kuala Lumpur and Seremban Highway run next to the Village,
and there is also a Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station in the
Village to cater for transport to any part of the city.
The Kuala Lumpur 98 Games Village is scheduled for completion in March 1998.
