KL '98 GAMES CAPTURED ON CD-ROMS

Those who missed the opportunity to watch the 16th Commonwealth Games which ended yesterday can witness the 11-day sports carnival on CD-Roms.
The CD-Roms are produced by Macroworld Sdn Bhd with the cooperation of the KL '98 Games organisers, Sukom '98 Berhad.
Sukom '98 Berhad chief operations officer, Lt Jen (Rtd) Datuk Seri Abdul Manap Ibrahim said today the CD-Roms were specially made to enable the public to remember the last Commonwealth Games of the century.
The 17th Commonwealth Games will be held in Manchester, England in the year 2002.
"This is the first time that events like the Olympics and Commonwealth Games is captured on CD-Roms," Abdul Manap said after presenting the 16th Commonwealth Games' Cd-Roms gold editions to Chef-de-Missions of the 70 participating countries.
The CD-Roms, priced at RM45 each, contain information on various events held during the sports carnival which ended in a colourful ceremony last night.
It also contains, among else various antics of the participating athletes and officials as well as the KL '98 Games theme song.
